Insufficient System Resources Exist to Complete the API.
When booting into Windows XP you get the error:
“Insufficient System Resources Exist to Complete the API.”
To fix this error download the patch from:
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=909095
You may need to boot the computer into Safe Mode with networking to be able to install this patch.

I downloaded an “automatic update” from windows and shut my computer down normally. Now it will not restart. If I let it try normally I get the “insufficent resource” message, then it cycles back to a restart. IF I can get to the “safe mode” start screen, my keyboard will not function to allow me any selection other than the default normal startup. This sure feels like some kind of virus to me.
Any help available?
