Your sql server installation is either corrupt or has been tampered with
When turning on your computer you get the error:
‘Your sql server installation is either corrupt or has been tampered with’
Do one of the following:
1. Try to remove SQL server from add and remove programs
2. If you have the sqlserver installation file try to either repair or remove the program through that.
3. Click start > run
Type: msconfig
Click on services
Untick any services starting with MSSQL$

Thank you for this information as it is very useful. The following error message shows that sql server installation is damaged and it can corrupt the mdf files. For the corrupted mdf files you can make use of the SQL database recovery software.
