When you add bullet points to a word 2003 document the program crashes.

To fix:

Delete (or rename) the following Registry key:

HKEY CURRENT USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\<version>.0\Word\Li st Gallery Presets

(For Office 2003 using Version 11)

Restart your PC.

When opening a Microsoft Word 2007 document Word takes a long time to open.

To fix:

Try changing your default printer. If this helps try updating the print driver of the printer causing the problem

In OS X

Click Skype in the menu bar and then preferences.

Click the Advanced Tab

Un-tick ‘Enable Mood Message Chat’

When trying to install Windows XP Service Pack 3 you get an ‘Access Denied’ error.

1. Download and install the Subinacl.exe file from the Microsoft Website.

2. Open Notepad and paste following code:

subinacl /subkeyreg HKEY_CURRENT_USER /grant=administrators=f /grant=system=f
subinacl /subkeyreg HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT /grant=administrators=f /grant=system=f
subinacl /subdirectories %SystemDrive% /grant=administrators=f /grant=system=f
subinacl /subdirectories %windir%\*.* /grant=administrators=f /grant=system=f
secedit /configure /cfg %windir%\inf\defltbase.inf /db defltbase.sdb /verbose

3. Save the file with name “SP3.bat“.

4. Now right-click on the file and select “Run as administrator“. It might take some time to complete.

5. After completion, restart your system and now you should be able to install SP3.
